THE LAW RIDERS MOTORCYCLE CLUB was established to provide the opportunity for increased camaraderie between current and retired law enforcement officers. The Law Riders MC was founded in Charleston, South Carolina in May of 2001 as an independent non-profit organization with eight charter members. The Law Riders MC was once the Lowcountry Chapter of the Wild Pigs MC. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we were unable to maintain our affiliation with that club.
The Law Riders provide support to the local law enforcement community by assisting officers and their families in times of need. Funds are raised through the sale of Law Riders MC merchandise and our annual Oyster Roast, usually held in March. The Club also organizes a ride and other festivities, in conjuction with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves, for the benefit of the Toys For Tots program. This ride is usually held the first weekend after Thanksgiving. The Law Riders do not take in any funds from this event - ALL proceeds go to Toys For Tots.
Events organized by the Law Riders are designed to be safe and enjoyable for all family members. All segments of the motorcycling community are welcome and encouraged to attend any Law Riders event. Attending a Law Riders event helps us to help your (our) community. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you again soon.
